We are looking for a Business Development Representative who will be in charge of the international expansion and winning new clients!
Overview

At Powerapi, We have built an all-in-one platform for B2B brands to quickly plug and play and deploy the relevant features into the market with the merchants and the Points of Sale they work with.

We’ve been growing to a remote-first team of 18 people and want to accelerate. We are looking for a Business Development Representative -Native/Fluent English who will be in charge of the international expansion, BDR team growth and winning new clients!

Ideal start date: Mid-August to Early September.

We are looking for candidates in Paris and are also open to candidates in Geneva or London.

Tasks

  • Contact prospects via cross-channel touch points to obtain an average of 4-5 new qualified appointments with decision-makers (C-level, CPO , COO , etc.).
  • Manage incoming leads and answer their queries about our solutions.
  • Give an excellent first impression to our prospects and manage the relationship until the first meeting is booked.
  • Work hand in hand with Sales to increase their qualified sales pipeline, develop sales, and help build a first-class team.
  • Maintain a quality relationship with our various leads through follow-ups and personalised and creative messages to increase prospects' interest in our solutions.
  • Achieve monthly objectives of booking first meetings, creating new opportunities, leading meetings, and concrete sales.
  • Prospect new accounts in your defined region/market (EMEA, UK, MENA).
  • Keep clean data on main CRM and internal tools tool - we work with Apollo.

Requirements

It's a Match

  • Experience in selling to large SaaS technology companies in a B2B space.
  • Native or Fluent English speakers is mandatory; French is a big plus.
  • You are very well organised, a team player, and proactive. You like to manage several things simultaneously and have a keen sense of analysis.
  • Knowledge of Online Presence, Online review, and Reservation space with a strong understanding of the SMB Space.
  • You enjoy cold calling with excellent oral and written communication.
  • Loves challenges and has a true performance culture that is Dynamic, agile and always positive.
  • A genuine desire to grow and succeed in a technological society.

Not a Match

  • Dislike of Cold Calling & Outreach.
  • Discomfort with Setting and Achieving Targets – You’ll have quotas for lead generation and meetings booked (4-5 / week). You’ll need to be comfortable with achievable targets and possess the drive to reach them consistently.

  • A short take-home exercise to get the feeling of the role.
  • A 30-minute presentation of business exercise to Rahul.
  • A 45-minute interview with Edouard, COO & Co-Founder.
