PowerAPI partnered with Digitourism, Switzerland (Canton Valais). With this collaboration, local tourism entities such as clothes stores, restaurants and bars were able to benefit from grants (up to 4'000 CHF) to implement PowerAPI for a period of 2 years.

The partnership has contributed to the digitalization of tourist establishments by installing an online booking system, presence and review management tool.

Via its Digitourism initiative, Canton Valais(Switzerland) is a pioneer in digitalization. By incentivizing local merchants to adopt digital product & technologies Canton Valais sets out to become a digital first canton. Improving their online visibility, reduce inefficiencies & grow set out to become a digital shaper by promoting digital product & tools across its merchants ecosystem.

Solution

Valais partnered with PowerAPI to streamline global commerce experiences, particularly as the company looked to support many merchants in different areas quickly. For example, when Valais expanded into Presence, the team worked with PowerAPI to optimize the review experience with Google, and enable merchants manage their online presence seamlessly.

Impact

Because PowerAPI natively supports over 150 integrations, Valais has been able to unlock speed to market and collaborate with PowerAPI to ensure the entire commerce experience for merchants is seamless and tailored to their operational preferences.
