2018

Inception

Post opening two F&B businesses and realizing the lack of an all-in-one tool to provide merchants with intelligent data insights; Andrea funds Foodetective. The mission was clear to support restaurants in managing their entire tech stack from one single interface.

Software V1 is Launched

The company is now incubated at Station F in Paris where Edouard joins as co-founder. Foodetective, V1 is live with orders and reservations management tools and attracts hundres of freemium clients.

2019

2020

1st paying client

Foodetective celebrates its first paying client and starts conversations with partners to integrate solutions. First partnership arrives with a last mile delivery provider as it becomes a priority during the pandemic.

Mobile First Approach & Open API

Foodetective releases its Mobile App and starts building its Open API and developper portal. That same year, it's selected as part of Adyen x The Next Web's 100 hottest European Scale Ups.

2021

2022

Year of Growth & Exposure

Foodetective is accelerated by Google & SAP.io, closes its $5m funding round, grows its team and is showcased on the media year-wide. Participation in events starts to scale such as Slush, CES, & WebSummit.

Foodetective becomes PowerAPI

Foodetective rebrand to PowerAPI with the mission to provide businesses across any industry with an operational software and plug & play tools they need to build unified commerce platforms.
